Meditation

Meditation is the practice of quieting the mind by slowing down and distancing yourself from your thoughts as a way to eliminate stress. A regular meditation practice can have many health benefits as chronic stress increases the risk and severity of almost all disease.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness can be described as paying attention to what we are experiencing in this moment with the ultimate goal of allowing us to better control our thoughts rather than allowing our thoughts and emotions to control us. This practice is extremely beneficial to people dealing with any disease as it helps them remain calm and retain hope in the face of fear and uncertainty.
